“Haymarket, New South Wales is located in the Sydney central business district. The suburb has a population of 2,898 and is governed by the City of Sydney. Haymarket is adjacent to the suburbs of Chippendale, Ultimo, and Glebe.
The area now known as Haymarket was first settled in 1809 as part of a land grant to Colonel John Macarthur.
