“Mortdale is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 16 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Rockdale. Mortdale is surrounded by the suburbs of Penshurst, Oatley, Lugarno, Peakhurst, Beverly Hills and Arncliffe.
Mortdale was originally part of the Parish of Wiley Park. In 1892 Mortdale was subdivided into house blocks and offered for sale.
